The founding-price lock

Your founding price covers Moab Ledger at its current scope and stays locked for as long as your license remains current.

Job costing, inventory, payroll, and trucking are coming. They are licensed separately at the prices in effect when they are released, and they are not covered by this lock.

TODO: lapse behavior — what happens to the lock if a license lapses and is later renewed — spec §7 requires this stated once you decide it.

Refund policy

Fourteen days, in full, no conditions. Email us within 14 days of purchase and we refund the license in full to the original payment method. We do not ask you to justify it and we do not deduct a fee from it.

Setup work already done is the one exception. If we have installed a network or cloud setup for you, that fee covers hours already spent and is not refunded. The license still is. We will say this before we book the work, not after.

Refunds are typically processed within TODO: business days and may take a few more days to appear, depending on your bank.

You are not locked out of your own books. When a refund is issued the license is revoked, and at the next license check Moab Ledger drops to reports only. It does not stop opening, and it does not stop you looking.

You can no longer enter transactions. But every report still runs and still exports. So you can take your figures with you on the way out.

Nothing is deleted. Your books are on your own hardware and a revoked license does not touch them. Uninstalling the application does not remove them either. Reports export to PDF, Excel and CSV, and on a single machine the backup is one archive holding both the books and the documents.

After 14 days the annual license is non-refundable and runs to the end of its term.

If something is broken, that is a defect, not a preference. Tell us. We would rather fix it or refund you than have you dispute a charge.
